Il mentionne rarement ses parents, si ce n&#8217;est que son p\u00e8re est d\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 il y a longtemps, et lors d&#8217;une de ses interviews, Chad a expliqu\u00e9 que cette p\u00e9riode avait \u00e9t\u00e9 la plus difficile de sa vie. Il a fr\u00e9quent\u00e9 le lyc\u00e9e J.P. Taravella, mais apr\u00e8s avoir obtenu son dipl\u00f4me, il a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de ne pas aller \u00e0 l&#8217;universit\u00e9 et de se concentrer plut\u00f4t sur sa carri\u00e8re musicale.
