Who is Brittany Inge?

American actress and activist Brittany Inge was born under the zodiac sign Libra on 8 October 1989, in Laurel, Maryland USA. She has 24 acting credits, and is perhaps known best for starring as Ashley James in 14 episodes of the popular comedy series “The Ms. Pat Show”, which today also stars Tami Roman, J. Bernard Calloway and Patricia Williams, and was created by Jordan E. Cooper back in 2021. It features a woman from Atlanta, Georgia as she’s living her life as a ‘reluctant suburban mom’; the series has won one of its four award nominations.

Brittany’s today highly active in the film industry, and is currently shooting for the upcoming short movie “Georgia Sky”.

Education and early life

Brittany was raised in Laurel by her parents who prefer to be left out of media, which is why Brittany can rarely be heard talking about them in her interviews; as she’s yet to speak about having siblings, most of Brittany’s fans believe that she has none.

She studied at a local high school in Laurel, and it was during her time there that she became passionate about acting, appearing in a number of school plays; Brittany was also into various other activities during her teenage years, as she ran track, and took both creative writing and dance lessons.

She matriculated in 2008, and then enrolled at Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia; Brittany eventually transferred to Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington, DC, from which she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in music in 2012.

Brittany’s debut film role was playing Dana in the 2015 short sports movie “I See, You See”, which she wrote and directed too, and which also starred Brandon Graham, Rajane Brown and Tunisia Bowen; the film ‘looks inside the minds of women in today’s world’.

The following year saw Brittany appear in three movies: the short drama “Tryp”, and the short comedies “Phantosmia” and “The Gram”. In 2018, she played Woman Protestor in the critically acclaimed crime drama “The Hate U Give”, which starred Regina Hall, Amandla Stenberg and Russell Hornsby, and was directed by George Tillman Jr. It follows Starr who’s just witnessed her best friend Khalil being shot by a police officer, while she’s now trying to find strength to stand up for what’s right; the film won 22 of its 60 award nominations.

Some of Brittany’s following roles were in the 2018 short drama “Silencer”, the short comedy “Mama Got a Cough” and the short historical drama “Eavesdropping on the Elders”, both in 2020.

In 2022, she played Duty Nurse in the drama “Tyson’s Run”, which starred Rory Cochrane, Amy Smart and Major Dodson, and was written and directed by Kim Bass; it follows an autistic boy as he’s trying to become a marathon champion.

Brittany’s only other film role has been playing Anna Washington in the 2023 mystery “Lethal Legacy”.

Brittany’s debut TV series role was playing Monie in the 2017 episode “Feel Free To Comment” of the sports comedy “Survivor’s Remorse”, and the same year saw her make an appearance in two episodes of the comedy “Maid to Order” and the episode “The Broken Washer” of the crime mystery “The Haves and the Have Nots”.

In 2018, she played Kitchen Worker in the episode “The Elopement” of the drama “The Resident”, which starred Manish Dayal, Bruce Greenwood and Matt Czuchry, and was created by Hayley Schore and Amy Holden Jones. It follows the lives of doctors working at Chastain Memorial Hospital, the series aired from 2018 through 2023 and won one of its three award nominations. Also in 2018, Brittany appeared in the episode “Champagne Papi” of the musical comedy “Atlanta”, and the episode “Supportive” of the drama “Love Is_”.

She went on to appear in an episode of the drama “Dynasty” and the action adventure “The Passage”, and in 2019 and 2020, she starred as Crystal Garrett in all 17 episodes of the romantic comedy “Boomerang”, which also starred Tequan Richmond and Tetona Jackson, and was created by Lena Waithe and Ben Cory Jones; the series follows a boy and a girl as they’re falling in love.
