Early Life

Azul Guaita Bracamontes was born on 21 July 2001, in Mexico City, Mexico. Her parents are Argentinian, but they moved to the Dominican Republic when Azul was still very young. It’s known that she has siblings, but not much is known about them and her parents’ identity.

From a very early age, Azul dreamed of becoming an actress, but her experience in the industry was limited to an appearance she made in the TV drama series “Clase 406”, when she was still a baby. During her time in the Dominican Republic, Azul couldn’t pursue her creative passions, and was often prompted to choose a career in politics or business instead. Just as she said in a 2023 interview, she felt that she didn’t fit into those standards, and didn’t have plans of becoming an academic.

At the age of 17, Azul traveled back to Mexico to meet her newborn niece, and took the chance to audition to join a drama school. Little did she know that the audition was instead meant to bring new talents to a then-new TV production entitled “Mi Marido Tiene Más Familia”.

After being asked to travel back to Mexico to film the show, Azul had to promise her parents that she was going to keep studying. In the end, Azul finished her high school courses online while working as an actress, eventually matriculating from high school in 2019.

Early Career

Before moving to the Dominican Republic, Azul appeared in several TV commercials in her native country. Her first credited character on TV was Juanita Chavez, the baby daughter of Gaby Chavez, the protagonist of “Clase 406”.

Following her return to Mexico in 2018, Azul was cast in “Mi Marido Tiene Más Familia” as Yolotl Rey, the daughter of Ernest Rey portrayed by actor Gabriel Soto. As Azul affirmed in 2023, she learned her acting skills while filming this series, and credits Soto for helping her improve her acting.

Following the end of “Mi Marido Tiene Más Familia” in 2019, Azul got her first main TV role in the drama series “Soltero Con Hijas”. Azul portrayed the character Camila Paz, a teenager who, alongside her three younger sisters, had recently become an orphan after losing her parents in an accident. This production saw Azul again sharing the stage with Gabriel Soto, who portrayed her adoptive father.

Also in 2020, Azul was cast in her first recurring roles in the series “La Negociadora” and “Subete A Mi Moto”. Nonetheless, her first couple of years of acting didn’t go as smoothly as she wanted, as she had a rough time adapting to her new life in Mexico, away from her parents.

Rise To Fame

Although Azul Guaita’s roles in TV drama series went well in introducing her to the audience and improving her acting skills, her claim to fame was yet to come. The right time to move her career forward and become a well-known face in the entertainment industry came in 2022, with the release of Netflix’s “Rebelde”, a sequel to the highly successful Mexican TV series of the same name which aired from 2004 to 2006.

Azul starred in the series as Jana Cohen Gandia, daughter of Pilar Gandia, one of the original cast members of the 2004 series. Jana’s character has a high status at Elite Way School for being a pop star.

Though “Rebelde” was canceled after only two seasons on the air, the series allowed Azul to prove her skills as a singer, by recording some of the classic songs of the series for its original soundtrack. The series also took Azul’s popularity to the next level, as she now has over four million followers on TikTok and Instagram combined.

Following the success of “Rebelde”, Azul next portrayed the character Daniela Beltran in the crime drama series “La Mujer Del Diablo”, which aired from 2022 to 2023.

Other Projects

Besides continuing her career as an actress, Azul Guaita is interested in fashion in a professional way. As she revealed during a 2023 interview, she’s enrolled at a fashion design college and is set on launching a clothing line for women sometime in the future. According to Azul, she wants her fashion line to offer a wide variety of sizes which other brands don’t have available.

With that being said, Azul is already well acquainted with the fashion world by having worked as a model for several brands and designers.

Also, Azul is reportedly interested in starting a singing career, so it surely won’t take long to see her talent shine in this aspect too.

Personal Life

Azul Guaita was in a long-term relationship with fellow actor Sebastian Poza. The pair met on the set of “Soltero Con Hijas”, and quickly developed into a romance, with both of them sharing many of their special moments as a couple on their social media.

Unfortunately, the relationship came to an end in August 2022, when Poza revealed that he and Azul were walking towards different paths in life. Later in 2023, Azul revealed that their relationship had ended due to false accusations of infidelity from one of Poza’s family members, and one of her friends.

Azul has also revealed that she was sexually abused in her childhood by a family member, revealing in a 2023 interview that she felt guilty for not having defended herself against the abuse, but found the courage to tell her story thanks to the encouragement of others who have gone through similar situations.

Appearance & Net Worth

Azul Guaita is a gorgeous woman with natural blonde hair and green eyes. Often praised for her looks, Azul is not afraid of experimenting with different hair colors, so far having dyed her hair blonde, red and pink. She’s 5ft 6ins (1.67m) tall, but her weight is unknown.

According to reports online, Azul Guaita has a net worth of $1.5 million, resulting from her career as an actress, model, and other earnings as a social media creator. However, it’s fair to doubt the veracity of these estimations, given how Azul’s career is still in its early stages.
