Following matriculation, Amy enrolled at the University of Kentucky, from which she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in interior design. During her time there, Amy was a part of the cheerleading team, and eventually one of the Wildcat Dancers at the Campus.

Once she graduated, Amy wanted to launch her career as an interior designer, and was eventually employed by Wakefield Beasley, the famous architectural firm, assuming the position of a project coordinator.
