Who is Emilio Martinez?
Emilio Martinez was born on 10 May 1999, in Catalonia, Spain; his zodiac sign is Taurus, and nickname is Eddymarti. He grew up in Spain but moved to LA to pursue his career, and is now a famous Instagram celebrity with more than six million followers, who call themselves “Martinators”.
Family and education
He has a twin brother called Ivan and a sister Rebecca; they completed primary education and graduated from high school, but didn’t go to college, rather following their dreams of becoming famous Internet personalities and entrepreneurs. All three of them are famous on Instagram – Emilio has 6.3 million followers, Ivan 5.9 million and Rebecca 304,000. They all get along well, and Rebecca frequently appears in their videos with some of her friends. Emilio is 5 minutes older than Ivan, and they are a famous Instagram duo – Martinators are crazy about these two brothers. Even though their father left them when they were 15 and their mother raised them, they were born into wealth. The names of their parents aren’t known, and they don’t post pictures with them.
Social media influence
The twins began posting videos on YouTube in 2016, since when the number of their subscribers kept growing because of the quality content they provided. The channel mostly consists of crazy challenges and pranks, in which they can show their funny side. They now have around five million subscribers, and post videos regularly on their YouTube channel. Their rise to fame continued when they started being active on Instagram, with some comparing them to the Dolan twins. By posting selfies every day, teenagers, especially young girls, started noticing how funny and handsome they were. Their followers constantly comment on their pictures, and the twins receive a lot of compliments each day. They have a friend Victor Perez who is like a little brother to them, and he appears in a lot of their pictures and videos. Also, they have an account – “blondtwins” – on a lip-syncing app called Musical.ly, on which they have almost 400,000 subscribers.
The twins were a part of Team 10, but decided to leave the group because Jake Paul, also a famous YouTuber and Instagram celebrity, started bullying them. They made a video about this incident and Jake Paul apologized in a video saying ‘Nobody should ever feel bullied and I truly apologize for not doing a better job as a leader and as a friend.’ Apparently, he mocked them because of their broken English – which is not their mother tongue – and he used this against them. They felt betrayed and accused him of apologizing only because Martinators started attacking him on Instagram, and not because he was truly sorry for what he did. They went back to Spain after leaving the Team 10, and focused more on their individual careers.
Emilio and his brother have a clothing line designed by numerous artists around the world, including Australian streetwear designer Steph Audino; they sell hoodies, hats and phone cases. They also make music, and in 2017 the music video “Fake Friends” on which they collaborated with Chad Tepper and Julian Martel. One of their famous music videos is called “That’s My Lambo”, which has attracted almost 19 million views. The song is a diss track, and talks about how Jake Paul owes them money, and how he poked fun at them while they were still getting along well, and living together in Team 10’s house in LA.
They posted a video on YouTube of Emilio in a shopping mall, hugging some random girls, and immediately fans went crazy thinking that he had found a girlfriend; however, he doesn’t. Also, one time his brother Ivan posted a picture of himself holding an unknown girl’s hand on Twitter, and the fans thought that she was his new flame, but it turned out that she was only a fan. However, he posted a quote on Twitter: ‘One day I wanna be able to say “She’s my girlfriend bc I’m in love with her” one day…’ This means that he is taking his time and waiting for that special someone. The fans are probably happy because the boys are still single.
According to authoritative sources, as of early 2019 Emilio’s current net worth is estimated at over $1 million. They have been in the industry for more than three years, their merchandise is selling well, YouTube channel keeps on growing, and more and more followers are sending follow requests. In their case, social media platforms were a great vehicle to become popular worldwide, and a way to cash in on their relevance and influence.

Emilio is 5ft 10ins (1.78 m) tall and weighs 150lbs (68 kg). His hair is naturally dark brown, but he now has some blond highlights on it. With his piercing blue eyes and a perfect jawline, it is no wonder that teenagers all over the world have a crush on him. Emilio and Ivan have a tattoo that says ‘Savage.’ The brothers are really similar, and the one thing that distinguishes one from the other is the size of their chins (Emilio has a bigger chin) and the fact that Emilio has freckles, and Ivan doesn’t.
