Of Greek ancestry, Nicole is the daughter of Fannie Holliday, the founder and CEO of Proini, the daily Greek-language newspaper, and The Greek American written in English, and her husband John C. Petallides, who is the owner of US Amfax, a company focused on telemarketing and other promotions.
