Who is Todd Russaw?

Todd was born in the USA sometime in the first half of the ‘70s – his zodiac sign is believed to be Sagittarius, he holds American nationality and is of African-American descent. He’s a record producer, but who’s probably known best for being the former husband of Faith Renee Jordan (nee Evans), a famous American singer-songwriter, record producer and actress.

Early life and education

Todd was raised in the US by his parents, about whom little is known because he respects their privacy; it’s believed that his father was a car mechanic, and that his mother was a cashier at a local supermarket. Todd hasn’t spoken of having any siblings, and is thus believed to be an only child.

Todd became interested in music while attending a local high school, and although he started singing and writing songs aged 17, he eventually switched to being a talent manager and music producer, rather than a singer-songwriter. Todd co-founded the agency Think BIG, and is today working as its strategic advisor, while some of the most popular people with whom he has worked since the launch of his career include Sean Combs, Pharrell Williams and Diana Warren.

Todd and Faith were introduced by their mutual friend Missy Elliot in 1996, and they went on their first date a couple of weeks later. Todd and Faith married in 1998, in a private ceremony attended by only some of their closest friends and family members.

On 8 June 1998, Faith gave birth to their son Joshua, and their second son Ryder Evan Russaw followed on 22 March 2007, but Faith and Todd divorced in 2011 for unknown reasons.

Faith Renee Jordan was born in Lakeland, Florida USA, on 10 June 1973 – her zodiac sign is Gemini, and she holds American nationality. She’s probably known best for her marriage with The Notorious B. I. G., but also for her music and the seven albums which she’s released.

Faith was raised in Lakeland as an only child, by her mother’s cousins Orvelt Kennedy and Johnnie Mae, who fostered more than 100 children; Faith’s mother Helene Evans was a professional singer, and her father Richard Swain, who was also a singer, but left Helene before Faith was born.

Helene returned for her daughter after she had succeeded in the music industry, and was able to financially support her, however, Faith who was close to three years old at that time, didn’t want to leave Orvelt and Jonnie, and Helene thus moved in next door.

Faith was only two when she began singing at church, and then went on to practice singing for the following decade. She studied at University High School, and was a member of multiple jazz bands. Upon matriculating in 1991, Faith enrolled at Fordham University in New York City, but quit after she gave birth to her and the music producer Kiyamma Griffin’s daughter Chyna.

Faith signed her first contract with Bad Boy Records in 1994, and released her debut self-titled album in the following year.

Her second studio album was released in October 1998, entitled “Keep the Faith”, and it became certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), and spawned the singles “All Night Long” and “Live Like This”.

Faith has since released only three more albums: “A Faithful Christmas” in 2005, “Something About Faith” in 2010 and “Incomparable” in 2014. Most recently, in 2021 she competed in the reality singing competition show “The Masked Singer”.

Faith has been nominated for eight Grammy Awards for her music, winning one in 1998 for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group, for her and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs song “I’ll Be Missing You”.

Faith is also an actress, with close to 30 credits to her name, probably known best for her role in the 2017 adventure comedy movie “Girls Trip”, directed by Malcolm D. Lee, and which starred Regina Hall, Queen Latifah and Jada Pinkett Smith. It follows four friends who have travelled to New Orleans to attend the Essence Festival; the movie won 13 of the 55 awards for which it was nominated.

Faith’s also an author, having published her autobiography “Keep the Faith: A Memoir” on 29 August 2008; it follows Faith’s life, its main focus being on Faith’s marriage with The Notorious B. I. G.
