Born in Brooklyn, Brett spent his childhood at Sheepshead Bay and Manhattan Beach. There is no information about his parents, including their names and professions, but we know that he has a sister named Heather, who is now married to Brett’s business partner Wayde King. He started looking for other options, and with his friend Wayde King, started the Acrylic Tank Manufacturing company, based in Las Vegas. Brett came up with a slogan “If you can dream it, we can build it”, referring to fish tanks and aquaria. Gradually their business developed and they eventually became known all over the USA. As their business grew, they were approached by the producers of Animal Planet with an offer to star in the new reality TV series entitled “Tanked”.

“Tanked” premiered on the 7th August 2011, with the episode praised by the viewers. The first season had only six episodes, but it helped a lot in attracting more notable clients. Since the second season which premiered on the 14th April 2012, Brett and the company have built tanks for a number of high-profile clients, which significantly increased Brett’s net worth. The Acrylic Tank Manufacturing is yet to file a response in federal court.
Brett has also ventured into the donut business; until most recently he has owned three locations of Donut Mania restaurants, and has now opened a fourth restaurant; he became the owner of the first restaurant in 2017, and in no time expanded his business across Las Vegas, which also increased his wealth.
