Early Life and Education
David grew up with two sisters in Rhode Island, raised by his parents; his mother worked as a clinical social worker at the Bristol County Community Health Center, and his father was an investor, working as the vice president of Fleet Investment Advisers based in Providence, Rhode Island.
There is only very little known about his education, but what is known is that after matriculating from high school, he enrolled at St. Lawrence University, and completing his degree there, though the details of his majors have not been shared publicly.
Shortly after completing school, he quickly turned to a career in broadcasting and production. One of the first opportunities he worked on was as a video field producer for the GTE Corporation. Later on, he moved to television networks, serving as a director as well as a news anchor for WSUB-AM.
In 2000, he got his breakthrough when he was hired by CNN and CNNfn, becoming the anchor for the morning television program “Ahead of the Curve”. The show had him in segments talking about events to come in the next seven days. However, the show was short-lived due to CNNfn dissolving, and CNN decided just to post articles or photos instead of an entire segment, and to just talk about upcoming events through other shows. After this opportunity, he decided to no longer pursue a career in broadcasting, instead spending time to develop his knowledge in real estate. He now serves as a real estate agent based in Connecticut, with a specialization in technology.
