The mother of Sergio Mayer Mori is a Mexican-Uruguayan actress, model and producer. She was born on 2 February 1978, in Montevideo, Uruguay. Barbara Mori gained widespread recognition for her work in both Mexican and international film and television.
Her breakthrough came with the role of Monica San Milan in the telenovela “Mirada de Mujer” in 1997, which was on air for three years and had 240 episodes. The show revolved around the love life of María Inés Domínguez de San Millán, who has an affair with a younger man.
However, Barbara Mori achieved global fame with her lead role in the Mexican film “La Mujer de Mi Hermano” (My Brother’s Wife) in 2005. Aside from her career in acting, Barbara has had a great deal of success in the world of modeling and film production. She’s produced several movies and TV series during her career, most notably the TV series “Dos Lunas” and the movie “Thirty, Single and Fantastic” (Treintona, Soltera y Fantástica).
Sergio’s first known public relationship was with Brazilian model Natália Subtil, who is 10 years older than him. There was a lot of speculation that the two would break up due to the large age gap between them, and they did split in 2016. However, it appears that the real reason was not the age gap, but rather a pregnancy and birth of a daughter Mila Mayer Subtil. Natalia was 28 years old at the time, and Sergio only 18. Allegedly, Sergio’s father intervened in the situation, and forced them to split up. He even reportedly demanded that Natalia provide a DNA test to prove that the child is actually his son’s. Sergio Jr later revealed in an interview that Natalia’s mood and behavior changed drastically after delivering the child, so the two didn’t spend much time together after that.
After this falling out with Natalia, in 2017 Sergio began dating Raquel Chaves, and the two are still together today.
