While living with Francisco, he learns the truth about who his son really is, and how he lives. Sergio played the role of a minor character called Rene.
On the other hand, “Mujeres Infieles 4” is a drama thriller with a more serious approach. It was directed by Ivan Cuevas and revolves around stories of hotel rooms, which see all shades of human passion, from love to hate. Sergio again plays only a minor role with the character named Hugo.
His big breakthrough in the entertainment industry came in 2022, when he was cast as Esteban Torres in “Rebelde”, a sequel of the popular Mexican telenovela of the same name which premiered in 2004. Set at Elite Way School (EWS), the international boarding school that originally gave rise to the legendary RBD music group, the series follows a fresh generation of students. These new enrollees aspire to join the prestigious music program at EWS, aiming to compete in the Battle of the Bands with the ultimate goal of becoming musical stars. The show continues the tradition of intertwining drama, romance and musical elements, within the backdrop of the boarding school environment.
So far there have been two seasons of the show released, each with eight episodes. As the second season came to a close in January 2022, there are still no updates regarding a possible season three. Still, there are rumors that suggest that the show has been approved to continue.
