Vinnie is a 21-year-old social media personality, entrepreneur, and model, probably best known for his TikTok account, @vhackerr, on which he’s amassed over 15.6 million followers and over a billion likes. He’s also attracted attention for collaborating with members of the social Hype House; the term commonly refers to a TikTok account featuring posts from creators collaborating for content. In his case, Vinnie and others lived in a house near Los Angeles, California, US, to produce the Netflix reality series “The Hype Life”, starting in early 2021.
Early life
Vincent Cole “Vinnie” Hacker was born on 14 July 2002, in Seattle, Washington State USA. He told InterviewMagazine that most people assume that his last name is fake, prompting him to learn that it had German origin. His mother, Maria Hacker, born 14 June 1975 in the US, worked as a 911 dispatcher, while his father Nate was an electrician. He explained that his mother often worked two jobs, and his father frequently worked overtime.
Vinnie’s mother has an Instagram account, maria.hacker.3, created around March 2019, on which she’s accrued close to 115,000 followers. On it, she’s shared her passion for running and her love for the black Labrador Poncho, whom the family adopted in 2019. Vinnie has a younger brother named Reggie Hacker, born 28 September 2004, also in Seattle. Reggie played basketball and baseball while maintaining impressive academic success and created his TikTok account, @reggieisahacker, in September 2020. Reggie posts similar content to his brother, and his account has almost 160,000 followers on Instagram.
Early education, source of career
Vinnie matriculated from the Catholic all-boys O’Dea High School in Seattle; he’s said that his religion shaped his personality and lifestyle. Vinnie played baseball at the school and was so adept at it that he was recruited for the premier youth league called Seattle Select Baseball Club. Vinnie said that he edited music videos and sports highlights, and made short films for others on Instagram and YouTube, but had no desire to become well-known on social media. Moreover, he told Hollywood Mask that he had a pretty good childhood, and that being a baseball player was his dream, despite having ‘a super chill, uncompetitive time in school.’
Vinnie admitted in his VMagazine interview that he only wanted to live-stream video games, but posted to social media to see if people would notice him; that disinterest is why he never watches his TikTok videos after posting them. Moreover, no one at school made fun of what he called ‘thirst trap videos’ because he went to an all-boys school, and others did the same to get female attention, however, that made Vinnie refrain from posting dancing videos.
Moreover, in one of the few YouTube videos that Vinnie uploaded, entitled The Truth about Vinnie Hacker, he said that he’d rewatched “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventures,” a Japanese anime TV series, over 50 times, having started watching anime content when he was six. Vinnie also said in one TikTok video that he received an Xbox console as a gift when he was young, which remains his favorite gift, as he felt that he got a Lamborghini in terms of significance. Similarly, the day Vinnie had $1,000 in his bank account for the first time is still his favorite, as he grew up relatively poor, and his parents worked so much.
Career
Vinnie moved to Los Angeles two days after he matriculated from high school to develop his career, but relocated to Thousand Oaks, California, after about eight months, to distance himself from parties and the crowd.
Vinnie’s TikTok account went viral in 2020, during the rise to popularity of the most-followed personalities such as Addison Rae, Bryce Hall, Charli D’Amelio, and Noah Beck. He primarily posted selfie-type videos, lip-synched to viral songs, and discussed religion, skateboarding, and other sports. However, what stood out was his chiseled jawline and athletic physique with a dozen tattoos, which he proudly showed off.
Vinnie didn’t wait too long to capitalize on his follower growth; he launched his clothing brand, Purgatory, in December 2020, focused on limited-time offers of hoodies, sweatpants, hats and T-shirts with designs reminiscent of death metal band logos – his brand’s official Instagram, purgatoryxla, has over 112,000 followers. He transitioned from digital marketing and sales to physical locations in January 2022, when he set up his first pop-up shop in Los Angeles.
Vinnie’s career also took off because he was a member of the Sway Gaming social house, launched on 17 July 2020 by the gaming branch of the TalentX Entertainment agency called TalentX Gaming. The content creator group featured six other social media stars, some of whom were Bryce Hall, Quinton Griggs, Noah Beck and Griffin Johnson, all passionate about video games. Moreover, Vinnie joined the collaborative TikTok group University of Diversity, which launched in March 2020. A fellow creator, Hadiya “Wowhadiya” Harris, founded it, and it had about 30 members who celebrated diversity of skin color, identity, and sexual orientation. Vinnie never left because it didn’t require the conditions that a talent agency would demand.
Hype House
Vinnie became a member of the Hype House social house in January 2021. This content creation group featured the platform’s most-followed stars, such as Avani Gregg, Larray, Chari D’Amelio, and Addison Rae. It was founded in December 2019 and signed with the William Morris Endeavor (WME) talent agency in January 2020 to produce a Netflix docu-reality series, “The Hype Life,” about the daily lives of social media stars living in a lavish house in Moorpark, near Los Angeles. In the trailer for the series, a fellow Hype House member, Alex Warren, commented that Vinnie is ‘a nerd trapped in a hot sexy summer body’.
As if that wasn’t enough to divert attention from his TikTok account, Vinnie agreed to compete in an influencer boxing tournament organized by LiveXLive called “Battle of the Platforms.” Vinnie fought the YouTuber Deji Olatunji and won with a technical knockout (TKO) in the third round. According to J-14.com, Vinnie trained daily motivated by his team’s belief in his skills, and was inspired by boxer Mike Tyson’s quotes. According to NumeroMag, he gained roughly 1.2 million followers on Instagram and about 3.2 million TikTok followers within seven days of his victory. Vinnie considers the tournament to be his most significant career milestone.

Modeling
Parallel to his TikTok career and entrepreneurship endeavors, Vinnie had been a commercial model. He said that he started modeling at approximately 15, but that he attracted little interest when he was signed to SMG Model Management, and it wasn’t his primary focus anyway. Vinnie joined IMG Models New York on 31 January 2023, according to IMG Models’ X post. Afterwards, he primarily modeled clothing and appeared in photoshoots for Inked, Rebel, and Gen V magazines. He always followed fashion and described his style as ‘relaxed and comfortable, but unafraid to look clean for an event.’
Growing his brand
Vinnie signed with Creative Artists Agency ( CAA) in February 2023, according to CAA’s LinkedIn post. CAA wrote that Vinnie was ‘fashion-daring, as he impressed high-end fashion houses such as AMI Paris, Dior, and Saint Laurent, that he had worked with Chipotle and Amazon, and that his clothing brand became a seven-figure business.’ Although Hype House members, including the co-founder Thomas Petrou, uploaded clickbait videos such as Vinnie Left… as early as June 2021 to attract views, Vinnie officially left the Hype House in early October 2022, explainingd that he ‘wanted a place that he could call his own.’
Joining 100 Thieves
In 2022, Vinnie became a member of the 100 Thieves gaming organization, founded in Los Angeles in November 2017, and initially known for sponsoring athletes who competed in tournaments for games such as League of Legends, Call of Duty, and Fortnite. Consequently, Vinnie also started streaming more on Twitch, and competed in tournaments based on video games such as VALORANT and Apex Legends. He admitted to Dexerto that video games remain a significant part of his life.
Vinnie added that he doesn’t go out much, and that joining 100 Thieves allowed him to meet friends with similar interests and that fame showed him who his real friends are. Vinnie also revealed a fun fact to Dexerto: his mother signed him up for the “Survivor” reality TV show in the early 2020s without his knowledge. Although he didn’t appear in the show, Vinnie learned that he ‘likes to start a bunch of different things and bring them together.’
Other passions
Vinnie has been dabbling in music since high school, but chose not to monetize it, treating it as a creative outlet and a way to tell his story; he now has over 90,000 followers and over 33 playlists on his public Spotify profile. Furthermore, he’s released a few tracks, notably “emotional highs,” “Cavity,” “Depressed” and “Another Day.”
Vinnie’s favorite song is “Say It Ain’t So” by Weezer, but his go-to workout song is “Dreams and Nightmares” by Meek Mill.
He admitted to NumeroMag that he wanted to become an actor and was taking acting classes in 2023.
Vinnie is also interested in cars, and has bought three vehicles as of November 2023. His first car, a 1993 Mazda RX-7 FD, cost him $33,000 and was his most expensive purchase in 2020. He got his second, 2011 BMW 335i a few months later, and his third, Nissan Skyline GT-R R32, a few weeks after the BMW.
He would love to meet or film a video with actors Johnny Depp or Jim Carrey.
Rumored girlfriend, singer Olivia Rodrigo
Vinnie allegedly went on a date with singer Olivia Rodrigo in June 2022. They were spotted on a night out in Hollywood, Los Angeles, and hugged before saying goodbye. Vinnie reportedly attended Olivia’s concert that night and left the afterparty before that hug. However, Vinnie’s friend, TikToker Josh Richards, said that Vinnie and Olivia were only good friends in an episode of his BFFs podcast. A month later, Vinnie told Fannita Leggett in her Past Your Bedtime podcast that he doesn’t have a type, which was met with backlash. Fans speculated that he only likes white girls with blonde hair, according to Dexerto, which a TikToker Serena Sums, who has dark brown hair, allegedly noticed when he unfollowed her shortly after they started flirting and exchanging pictures. In his The Truth about Vinnie Hacker… video, he revealed that he isn’t the greatest at picking up signals that a woman is interested in him. He says that him ‘being a cocky heartbreaker who gets girls quickly is the funniest thing that he has read about himself.’
Rumored partner Nikita Dragun
Vinnie reportedly had a crush on Nikita Dragun, a fellow Hype House member, in mid-2021. Rumors began circulating when Nikita uploaded several photos of the two in April. He made suggestive comments towards her, implying a sexual relationship, and chose to marry her during the “Fuck, Marry, Kill” game that he played with Brianna Chickenfry, Dave Portnoy, and Josh Richards in a BFFs podcast episode in June 2021. Although Nikita deleted the pictures within a few days to avoid backlash, Vinnie commented on Instagram that he was playful because they were friends, and didn’t expect that his wording would suggest otherwise.
Rumored girlfriend Faith Ordway
Vinnie Hacker allegedly dated fellow social media personality Faith Ordway in late 2020. They collaborated in November 2020 for a TikTok video, prompting their audience to speculate whether they were together. Moreover, some of his fans found Faith’s old Twitter posts potentially offensive, which people speculate led to the end of their relationship. Faith defended herself by writing that she ‘would fly home, quit the job that she loves, and stop seeing someone she likes because it has caused issues.’
According to Dexerto, she also accused fans of trying to ruin her mental health over a man, and make her look like a bad person. Vinnie posted on 19 November to Twitter that ‘he was removing all his negative and annoying posts to spread positivity’, and never addressed the dating rumors afterwards. The only exception is his choice to kill Faith during the “Fuck, Marry, Kill” game mentioned above, because she found a boyfriend.
Physical characteristics
Vinnie Hacker has light brown hair and hazel eyes, is 6ft (1.82m) tall, weighs about 165lbs (75kgs), and has an athletic physique; his shoe size is 11.5 US (145.5 EU or 11 UK). Vinnie has over a dozen tattoos, primarily on his upper body. He discussed his habit in an interview with Inked magazine in October 2021, saying that he wanted a tattoo since he was 14, and got his first at 18; it depicted Michelangelo’s painting “The Creation of Adam,” according to Heighline. Vinnie also waited a year to ensure that getting a succubus-looking girl tattooed on his hand was the correct decision, but advised his fans to wait even longer.
Vinnie has a guy with angel wings tattooed on his upper back, a skeleton with a hula-hoop on his left biceps, lightning across his left shoulder and triceps, and a snake coiling around his neck. Moreover, he tattooed words’ break my heart’ in the same font as his brand Purgatory on his sternum, one of the most painful places to tattoo, and skeleton wings, a moon, a spade, and a spider across his pectoral muscles, and stomach. Both of Vinnie’s forearms have some tattoos, but his legs have a few; he has two large tattoos on each thigh and a creature with a skeleton ribcage on his left calf.
Tattoo meaning
The phrase ‘God won’t you wake me up‘ on the back of Vinnie’s hand references his Catholic faith. Additionally, he has three tattoos connected to his personal life on his arm; ‘VB’ on his arm is the initials of a friend who died during high school, three crosses represent his family, and 16 was his high school jersey number. On the inner forearm is a gun pointed to his body that represents negative events in his life.
Anime-inspired tattoos
Most of Vinnie’s tattoos seem inspired by anime television series and movies, which he discusses on his anime TikTok account, @ichigostinysandalsv2. Ichigo Kurosaki is the protagonist of the “Bleach” anime that Vinnie has followed for years, and wears a kimono-like attire with little sandals. Vinnie revealed that his chest tattoo, which he got in late January 2022, is the symbol called Brand of Sacrifice from the “Berserk” anime TV series. According to the anime’s wiki, it marks ‘targets announced for the Invocation of Doom,’ who will be pursued by the demons, apostles, and The Godhand in that universe. Furthermore, on his left forearm, Vinnie tattooed Guts, a mercenary character with a gouged right eye from the same anime.
He also has at least two tattoos inspired by “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure,” the words ‘made in heaven’ on his right forearm, and the symbols from the anime around it. He got the first one as a reference to Catholicism but later realized that the anime subconsciously inspired it; Made in Heaven represents the final stage of metamorphosis in that lore. On his right biceps, Vinnie has the logo for the Akatsuki group of ninjas, the main villains in the “Naruto” anime series. On his left biceps, he has a tattoo of a dragon eating its tail, referencing the protagonist Meliodas, Dragon Sin of Wrath, in the “The Seven Deadly Sins” anime, who has that tattoo in the same place.
Moreover, Vinnie has a tattoo of the numbers ‘1000-7’ on his left wrist, a reference to the “Tokyo Ghoul” anime protagonist, Kaneki Ken, who was locked and physically tortured. His tormentor forced him to count from 1000 to zero by seven to ensure that his mind didn’t break from the excruciating pain. Vinnie also has the word ‘ghoul’ tattooed nearby, to commemorate his love for the series. Finally, he has two quotes from the “Vagabond” anime series. Both ‘The strong are always kind’ and ‘The mighty are usually lovely’ parts of longer quotes spoken by the protagonist of the same name.
Net worth
Vinnie Hacker’s net worth is estimated at $2 million online, but it’s likely $4 million or more, as he’s lived in and around Los Angeles for about three years and likely owns his home. On top of his immense social media popularity, Vinnie is a model, prestigious gaming organization member, and has worked with Prada, EssilorLuxottica, Saint Laurent, and Celsius.
