Woodrow Tracy ‘Woody’ Harrelson was born in Midland, Texas USA, on 23 July 1961 – his zodiac sign is Leo, and he holds American nationality. He’s appeared in more than 100 movies and TV series, and is perhaps still known best for having starred alongside Matthew McConaughey in the first season of the mystery crime series “True Detective”. It was created by Nic Pizzolatto, aired from 2014 to 2019, and each of its three seasons follows the police investigation of a crime; the series won 35 awards, including five Primetime Emmys, while it was nominated for 91 other awards.

Woody was raised in Midland alongside his brothers Jordan and Brett by their father Charles Voyde, who was subsequently sentenced to spend his life behind bars after he killed the federal judge John H. Wood Jr. in 1979, and their mother Diane (nee Oswald) who was a secretary; Charles died in the US Penitentiary, Administrative Maximum Facility on 15 March 2007.
