Charles Alan Weber Jr. was born in Jefferson City, Missouri USA on 20 September 1978, so under the zodiac sign of Virgo and holding American nationality. He is a former model, but is best known for his acting career, particularly his role in the “How to Get Away with Murder” TV series while.
Early life and education
Charlie has never talked about his parents, so there is nothing known about them, and since he doesn’t mention any siblings either it is rumored that he is an only child. It is said that his mother put him in drama classes when he was around 10, to help him come out of his shell, but he soon shifted from acting to sports as he was not into that at the time. He matriculated from high school and started attending University of Missouri for which he played football, however, he dropped out and moved to New York when he was 19 to pursue a career of a model – one of his appearances was in the Abercrombie & Fitch 1998 Christmas edition catalog, but he also began studying at Stella Adler Studio of Acting as soon as he got to New York.
Charlie’s first appearance in front of the TV cameras was in “The Broken Hearts Club: A Romantic Comedy” in 2000, and the same year appeared in an episode of “The Drew Carey Show”, then landed his first recurring role in “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”, playing Ben Wilkinson in 14 episodes.
He then appeared in movies such as “Gacy”, “The Kiss” and “Cruel Intentions”, as well as in TV series’ including “Charmed, “Everwood” (five episodes), “Veronica Mars” and “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation”. His next notable role was as Todd in 12 episodes of the “Underemployed” TV series in 2012 and 2013, right after which he landed the role of Mark Holland in the “90210” TV series, appearing in seven episodes.
Charlie was seen in a single episode of the “Warehouse 13” TV series, and then lent his voice to the Staff Sergeant Dunn character in the “Battlefield 4” video game in 2013. In 2014, he landed the role for which he is most famous today, of Frank Delfino in the “How to Get Away with Murder” ABC drama TV series, which he is still shooting today. After winning this role, he’s only acted in two more movies – “Jarhead 3: The Siege” in 2016, and “Ex-Patriot” in 2017.
Charlie is still working as a model too, although not as much as before since he is focused on his acting career – his last appearance was on the cover of “26 Magazine”.
Personal life and likes
Charlie married attorney Giselle Weber on 21 April 2015, and back then she appeared to be the love of his life, however, it seems that the two were not right for each other as they divorced just a year later. Charlie has a daughter from a relationship before his marriage who was born in 2004, and he currently appears to be dating Liza Weil, the duo acting together in “How to Get Away with Murder” – they began their romantic relationship in 2017. Liza was also married before, to actor Paul Adelstein who acted in “Grey’s Anatomy”; they spent nine years together and have a daughter named Josephine Adelstein, but divorced in 2016.
During an interview with Daman, Charlie said how out of all the things in the world, his personal favorite is travelling. He also loves to read when he has free time, and being with his daughter, friends, and loved ones. He is currently happy with his life and wouldn’t change anything – he is satisfied with how his career looks, and would only like to get out of town more and just lay low for a while. He gave advice to young actors to always be proactive, always be out there, and always be striving to do something – he claims that one should get in front of a camera, get on stage and try to find that something, as it won’t come to you on its own.

Charlie is currently 40 years old, has short brown hair, blue eyes, is 5ft 10ins (1.8m) tall and weighs 172lbs (78kgs). He is very muscular, as he exercises almost every day.

Charlie is quite active on several social media platforms, although he claims that he is definitely not addicted to it, and doesn’t take it really seriously, as he just posts ‘a picture or tweets from time to time and that’s all’.
