Bree Essrig is an American actress, writer, internet personality and model, who’s probably known best for her YouTube channel BREEessrig. She also regularly appeared in the now-defunct current events and news YouTube channel, “SourceFed.”

Age, Early Life, and Education Background

Breana Danielle Essrig was born under the Taurus zodiac sign on 21 April 1990, in Los Angeles, California, and is 33 years old as of 2023. She is the daughter of the actor Michael Essrig, whose professional name is Michael McCabe; she hasn’t disclosed the name of her mother.

Bree was brought up alongside her younger sister, Shannon Essrig, and attended a local high school in Los Angeles, and thereafter enrolled at the internationally acclaimed Idyllwild Arts Academy to study theater and improvisation.

Bree wrote and directed 31 episodes of the TV series “Gilliam & Scout” in 2011 and 2012.

In 2014, she wrote an episode of “Pop Trigger” and in 2016, she wrote 25 episodes of the TV series “Nuclear Family”, and produced two and directed three episodes of the series. Moreover. YouTube Channel

On 13 May 2009, Essrig launched her YouTube channel on 13 May 2009, posts comedy sketch and spoken word poetry, and advice vlogs that deal with topics such as mental illness, sexual assault, and bullying.

She uploaded her first video “THINGS I DO WHEN MY BOYFRIEND’S NOT HOME!” on 2 July 2010; some of her most popular videos are “DO YOU WANNA DO SOME BLOW, MAN? FROZEN PARODY” (uploaded on 23 July 2014) and “Palm Swings – Short Film” (uploaded on 15 October 2021), which have over 10.6 million and 2.8 million views respectively. Essrig has around 290,000 subscribers and has uploaded 120+ videos, which have accumulated around 24 million views as of late 2023.

Bree co-hosted the YouTube pop culture and news channel, ‘PopTrigger’ from 2012 to 2015.

From 2015-2017, she served as the writer and host of the news website and YouTube channel, “SourceFed.”

Essrig worked in the make-up department of the short films “Flatter” in 2006, and “Cessation” in 2009. She also worked in the art department of the short film “Salesman.”

Bree is openly bisexual; she came out in 2013 in the political news talk show “The Rubin Report.” She’s dated the YouTuber, actor, writer and director Steve Green (May 2009-2013), whom she appeared alongside in “Gilliam & Scout.” Green is currently married to the “Smiley” and “How I Met Your Mother” actress, Nikki Limo – the duo exchanged vows on 28 May 2017. Bree is rumored to have been in a romantic relationship with her “SourceFed” co-host, Steve Zaragoza. She is unmarried without any children, as of late 2023.
