Early life and education
Morgan was raised in Whitby by her parents about whom nothing’s known, because she respects their privacy; however, some fans believe that her father was a fisherman, and her mother was a cook. Morgan hasn’t spoken of having any siblings, and is thus believed to be an only child.
Morgan was around 11 years old when she became passionate about reading books, and has since read hundreds. Michael Carlyle Hall was born in Raleigh, North Carolina USA, on 1 February 1971 – his zodiac sign is Aquarius, and he holds American nationality. He’s an actor, film producer and director, who’s appeared in close to 50 movies and TV series, probably known best for his portrayal of the lead character Dexter Morgan in the mystery crime series “Dexter”.
It was created by James Manos Jr., also starred Jennifer Carpenter and David Zayas, and follows Dexter who’s solving crimes during the day, while committing them at night; the series aired from 2006 to 2013 and won 57 awards, including four Primetime Emmys, while it was nominated for 196 other awards.
Michael was raised in Raleigh as an only child, by his father William Carlyle Hall who worked at IBM as a systems engineer manager, and his mother Janice (nee Styons) who worked at Lees-McRae College as a mental health counselor. His father died from prostate cancer when Michael was 11.
Michael studied at Ravenscroft School, from which he matriculated in 1989, and he then enrolled at the liberal arts Earlham College, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in 1993.
He initially wanted to become a lawyer, but went on to enroll at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in acting in 1996.
