Who is Ziv Zaifman?
American actor, singer and social media star Ziv Zaifman, was born under the zodiac sign Cancer on 7 July 2004, in Clearwater, Florida USA. He has only three acting credits but is perhaps known best for singing the song “A Million Dreams” in the critically acclaimed 2017 biographical musical movie “The Greatest Showman”, which starred Zac Efron, Michelle Williams and Hugh Jackman, and was directed by Michael Gracey. It follows a visionary who brought show business to life, and the movie won 17 of its 49 award nominations, including an Oscar nomination for Best Achievement in Music Written for Motion Pictures.
Early life and education
Ziv was raised in Clearwater by his father and mother who want to be left out of media, and Ziv thus doesn’t speak about them in public; his mother’s believed to be a journalist and his father a high school soccer coach but this remains unconfirmed. Even though Ziv’s yet to talk about having siblings, it’s widely believed that he was raised alongside his older brother.
He became passionate about singing at a very early age, and his parents thus enrolled him at school for the performing arts, at which Ziv practiced singing, acting and dancing. He was 13 when hired to sing the song “A Million Dreams” in the movie “The Greatest Showman”, while he then sang it in the 2017 episode “Everything Wrong with the Greatest Showman” of the comedy series “Everything Wrong With…”, which has been airing since 2012 and today stars Neil DeGrasse Tyson, Chris Atkinson and Jeremy Scott. The series aims to show the mistakes made in various movies.
Also in 2018, Ziv sang the same song in the episode “Evening Bulletin” of the news show “Granada Reports”, which has aired nearly 3,000 episodes since its premiere in 1992 and today stars Lucy Meacock, Tony Morris and Kerrie Gosney; the show provides daily news for the Granada North West region and has won five awards, including two BAFTAs.
Ziv studied at Tenafly High School in New Jersey and was into several activities while there as he appeared in a number of school plays as a member of the school’s drama club, played soccer and practiced creative writing.

Ziv’s debut TV series role was playing Aaron Edelstein in the 2017 episode “Philomena (No. 61)” of the critically acclaimed crime mystery “The Blacklist”, which Jon Bokenkamp created back in 2013 and which today stars Diego Klattenhoff, Megan Boone and James Spader. It follows the work of new FBI profiler Elizabeth Keen, and the series has won two of its 35 award nominations.
Ziv made his film debut in 2018, playing Moishe in the popular comedy “To Dust”, which starred Sammy Voit, Matthew Broderick and Geza Rohrig, and was written and directed by Shawn Snyder. It follows the life of Hasidic cantor Shmuel whose wife’s just died, and the film won three of its five award nominations.
Ziv’s only other role has been playing Bully #1 in the 2020 episode “A National Affair” of the crime comedy series “Search Party”, which starred John Early, John Reynolds and Alia Shawkat, and was created by Charles Rogers and Sarah-Violet Bliss. It follows four young adults who’ve become involved in an ominous mystery; the series aired from 2016 through 2022 and won three of its 16 award nominations.

Ziv shies away from talking about his love life in public and most of his fans believe that he’s today focused on his career and isn’t pursuing love, but there are also those who believe otherwise.
Some of Ziv’s fans claim that he’s perhaps in a relationship with his high school sweetheart, having seen the two spending time together on more than a single occasion; it’s believed that Ziv and the mysterious girl began dating in 2021, but he’s yet to address the matter.
There are also those who believe him to be gay but this hasn’t been addressed by Ziv either.
