Who is Andrew M. Gray?
American actor Andrew Gray was born under the zodiac sign Aquarius on 4 February 1987, in Sacramento, California USA. He has 13 acting credits and is perhaps known best for playing the lead character Troy Burrows – aka Red Super Megaforce Ranger – in the 2015 action adventure family movie “Power Rangers Super Megaforce: The Legendary Battle”, which also starred Ciara Hanna and John Mark Loudermilk, and was directed by Charlie Haskell and Koichi Sakamoto. It follows the Rangers as they’re defending Earth from forces sent by the Emperor.
Andrew’s currently shooting for three upcoming movies: “Spilt Milk”, “The Dark Zone” and “American Underdog”.
Education and early life
Andrew and his older brother Tyler Rondell Gray were raised in Sacramento by their American father David Gray and Spanish mother Angela Ramirez-Foster; Angela and David divorced when Andrew was still very young, and she married her second husband Craig Foster, while the name of David’s second wife remains unrevealed. Tyler’s today married to Nicole Maldonado and they have a son Sterling, and Andrew also has a paternal half-sister.
He became interested in acting aged six as he and his brother would often watch movies and TV series at home; Andrew studied at a local elementary school and was 11 when he appeared in his first school play. He began attending a local high school in 2001, and was mostly into sports during his time there as he played soccer, basketball and baseball.
Andrew matriculated in 2005, and then enrolled at college to study acting, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2009.
Roles in movies
Andrew’s debut film role was playing Marcus in the 2011 thriller “1313: Wicked Stepbrother”, which starred Jake Madden, Michelle Bauer and Jordan Nicholas, and was written and directed by David DeCoteau. It follows Jarrod Mycroft who’s convinced that his step-brother Sebastian’s a serial killer whom the police are trying to catch; the movie received mostly negative reviews.
Also in 2011, Andrew played Driver in the short comedy “L. A. dy Dior”, and the following year saw him portray Student in the biographical drama “A Green Story”, which starred Billy Zane, Ed O’Ross and Shannon Elizabeth, and was written and directed by Nika Agiashvili. It follows a man who’s moved his family to the US from Greece in search of a better life; the film was nominated for a Los Angeles Greek Film Festival Award for Best Feature Film.
A couple of Andrew’s following roles were in the 2013 action “Power Rangers Megaforce: Ultimate Team Power”, the 2019 action adventure thriller “Shadow Wolves” and the 2021 animated family comedy “Panda vs. Aliens” (voice role).
In 2022, he played Salsa Dancer in the adventure comedy “Slumberland”, which starred Chris O’Dowd, Marlow Barkley and Jason Momoa, and was directed by Francis Lawrence. It follows a young girl who’s found a map to the magical world of Slumberland, and the film was nominated for three awards.
Andrew’s only other movie role has been playing Extra in the 2023 western thriller “The Warrant: Breaker’s Law”, which starred Bruce Boxleitner, Dermot Mulroney and Neal McDonough, and was directed by Brent Christy. It follows Marshal John Breaker and Deputy Bugle Bearclaw who’ve brought one of the most dangerous criminals to justice, but are now forced to ask for help in defending a small town from a ruthless gang.
Roles in TV series
Andrew’s appeared in only four TV series. His debut was starring as the aforementioned Troy Burrows in all 42 episodes of the 2013 action family adventure “Power Rangers Megaforce”, which also starred John Mark Loudermilk and Ciara Hanna, and was created by Haim Saban.
In 2016, Andrew played Naked Man in the episode “It’s Spatula Time” of the comedy “Dirty Talk”, and the year 2018 saw him play Mark in two episodes of the crime drama “Betrayed”, which starred Rene Aranda, Harvey B. Jackson and Mark Krenik, and follows a woman as she’s chasing the American dream.

Andrew’s only other role has been voicing Pink Cupcake in the 2023 episode “Ghost House” of the animated family comedy “Bread Barbershop”.

Andrew prefers not to speak about his love life in public, but we know that he was in a relationship with Kelly Mi Li, an American reality TV star, social media personality and actress. sometime in 2019 and 2020; what led to their split was wanting different things as Kelly was looking to marry and have children, while Andrew wanted to focus on his career. It has since worked out for both as Andrew’s steadily gaining recognition in the film industry, while Kelly’s found a boyfriend and is today pregnant.
There are no other women whom Andrew’s perhaps dated, that we know about; he’s unattached as of November 2023, hasn’t married and doesn’t have children.
