British actor and social media personality Cormac Hyde-Corrin was born in London, England under the zodiac sign Scorpio on 2 November 2004. He has just two acting credits, and is perhaps known best for playing Mid Shipman in the critically acclaimed 2023 biographical action adventure movie “Napoleon”, directed by Ridley Scott, and which starred Tahar Rahim, Vanessa Kirby and Joaquin Phoenix. It follows the life of French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte and the film won four of its 43 award nominations, including three Oscar nominations for Best Achievement in Costume Design, Production Design and Visual Effects.

Cormac was raised in London by his British father and mother who prefer to be left out of media, which is why Cormac doesn’t talk about them in public; it’s believed that his mother’s a dentist and his father a businessman, but this hasn’t been addressed by Cormac. He became interested in acting while still attending a local elementary school, as he was persuaded by his teacher to join its drama club and start appearing in school plays; this led Cormac to enroll at the BRIT School in Selhurst, Croydon, England in 2019. It was while at the school that he launched his acting career, portraying Harry Green in 14 episodes of the romantic series “Heartstopper”, created by Alice Oseman, and which starred William Gao, Kit Connor and Joe Locke. It follows teenagers Nick and Charlie as they’re falling in love, and the series won 15 of its 45 award nominations.

Cormac matriculated in 2023, and has remained focused on acting rather than pursuing a college degree.

Cormac launched his self-titled YouTube channel on 10 November 2019, and it’s today subscribed to by a few over 1,200 people; he’s shared only four videos, all of which together number nearly 35,000 views.
