Melisa Bring is an American photographer and cinematographer, but who is probably best known as the wife of entertainer Dave Coulier. She’s taken part in the creation of several TV series and films.

Early life

Melisa Bring was born on 18 June 1983, in Montana, USA. Her interest in photography and filmmaking was sparked at an early age, when she received a camera as a gift at the age of 11. Her talent for photography was immediately evident, as she took many photos of her friends and family.

Melisa’s career in the entertainment industry began in 201, when she directed the 2015 documentary film “Stripped: Montana.” The film centers around the lives of exotic dancers in rural Montana, and how they deal with their lifestyle. The film was produced by Bring Media, a production company founded by Melisa and her brother.

That same year, she also worked on the production of the short “Laundry Room Romance” as a cinematographer, which revolves around two young people who meet at a laundromat on a hot summer day. Their brief encounter quickly turns to a steamy romantic story.

In the following year, she worked as a set photographer on the TV series “Can’t Get Arrested”, alongside her husband who was cast as one of the lead characters.

Marriage to Dave

Melisa and Dave first met in 2005, when Dave was travelling with his friends. The two encountered each other when Dave accidentally tripped Melisa, continued talking afterwards, and felt an instant connection. They dated for nearly a decade before they married in 2014, holding their wedding ceremony in Montana, as a way of honoring the place where they first met. This was Dave’s second marriage, as he was previously married to Jayne Modean in the early 1990s – they have a son called Luc, who was born in 1990.

Bob Saget, Dave’s late costar made several speeches and toasts at their wedding ceremony. Other famous actors, such as John Stamos, Andrea Barber and Candace Cameron Bure were also present on their big day.

In recent years, the couple have revealed their renovation plans for their house in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. They started working on their house when COVID-19 pandemic began, as it gave them a lot of free time. However, in 2022, Dave revealed that they’d bought a piece of property in Michigan, and that they were going to build their dream house there. Dave went on to share his enthusiasm about this project, as he wanted to help build the house and so went to a contractor’s school.

In March 2022, Dave uploaded a photo on his Instagram sharing updates on his journey to sobriety. He revealed that he had quit drinking in January 2020, and shared that his wife was a huge support in this process.

Coulier’s breakthrough as an actor came with his portrayal of Joey Gladstone, the fun-loving and goofy friend of Danny Tanner (played by Bob Saget) in “Full House,” which aired from 1987 to 1995. His catchphrase “Cut it out!” became iconic, and his comedic timing and expressive face made him a beloved character on the show. Coulier reprised his role as Joey Gladstone in “Fuller House,” the sequel to the original “Full House.” “Fuller House”, debuted on Netflix and aimed to capture the spirit of the original series while introducing a new generation of characters. While not a main character as in the original series, Coulier made guest appearances throughout the show’s run. His character, Joey, continued to provide comic relief and maintain his signature catchphrase, “Cut it out!” The sequel was on air for a total of five seasons, and followed the adventures of D.J. Tanner-Fuller, Stephanie Tanner, and Kimmy Gibbler as they navigate adulthood and parenthood.

His latest role as an actor came in 2022, when he appeared on an episode of the TV series, “Live + Local” as the character Tommy Murphy., Created by Dan Merchant, the series focused on the local Christian radio station K-HUGG, which is going through major changes and shifts in power.
