American celebrity family member Spencer Gooding was born under the zodiac sign Virgo on 11 September 1994, in New York State USA. He’s probably known best for being a son of famous American actor Cuba Gooding Jr.

Spencer was raised in New York State alongside his sister Piper and brother Mason, by their father Cuba and mother Sara Kapfer, who was Cuba’s high school sweetheart; Mason’s today also a successful actor and has 25 credits, perhaps known best for playing Chad Meeks-Martin in the 2022 mystery horror thriller movie “Scream”.

Spencer was into various activities while attending Windward High School, as he took dance lessons, appeared in a couple of school plays, and participated in various sports with his peers. He matriculated in 2013, and continued his education at Wesleyan University, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in 2017.

Spencer’s career

No details have been disclosed about Spencer’s career, as he prefers to stay away from media; it’s only known that he was featured in an episode of the 2002 sports series “SlamBall”, created by Mason Gordon, and which starred Craig Johnson, Brian Taylor and Brent Gorcie; it follows the lives of several professional basketball players.

Famous American actor Cuba Mark Gooding Jr. was born under the zodiac sign Capricorn on 2 January 1968, in New York City USA. He has 98 acting credits, and is perhaps still known best for portraying one of the main characters Rod Tidwell in the 1996 romantic comedy film “Jerry Maguire”, which Cameron Crowe wrote and directed, and which also starred Tom Cruise and Renee Zellweger. It follows a sports agent who’s been fired for having a moral epiphany, while he’s now begun working as an independent agent; the movie won 26 of the 67 awards for which it was nominated, including an Oscar win for Cuba, for Best Actor in a Supporting Role.

Cuba was raised in New York City alongside his siblings Thomas, Omar and April, by their father Cuba Gooding Sr. who was a member of the American soul and R&B group The Main Ingredient, and mother Shirley Sullivan who was a singer. The family moved to Los Angeles, California when Cuba was four, but his father abandoned them two years later. Cuba often switched school and struggled to fit in; he attended four high schools and was class president in three. He matriculated in 1986, and then focused on acting rather than enrolling at college.

It follows the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, and the movie won 58 of the 149 awards for which it was nominated, including an Oscar win for Best Achievement in Music Written for Motion Pictures, Original Song.

Some of Cuba’s most recent roles have been in the 2022 romantic film “Life in a Year”, the 2023 action thriller movie “The Weapon”, and the 2024 horror thriller movie “Skeletons in the Closet”.
