Tyler was one of two sons born to Gene and Glenda Long Priddy; his brother’s name is Chris. Tyler went to Hinton Elementary School and later matriculated from Putnam City High School. His first car was El Camino, assembled from parts for which Tyler borrowed money to buy, and beg and steal parts, as a result he named his car “Old Slut”. Despite having an underperforming car, Tyler’s talents helped him achieve greatness, and thanks to his increasing popularity as a racer, Tyler became a part of the new show “Street Outlaws”.
Thanks to his success on streets, and his friendship with Big Chief and other drivers, David became a part of the show that followed street racers as they build their cars, and raced against each other. The show became extremely popular, launching Tyler to prominence, but unfortunately he remained only for one season, as he died before the second season began.
