Gonzales returned to the mainland US, residing in Kansas City and working for radio stations KXXR X106 and KBEW-Q104. Afterwards, she went back to her home town of Albuquerque, to work with KANW 89.1 and KKSS 97.3 KISS FM, and then moved to Oxnard to work with the radio station KCAQ Q104.7.
Thanks to her experience, she also found herself gaining several acting opportunities, and made guest appearances in various shows, including “The Practice”, a legal drama focused on the partners and associates at a Boston Law Firm, which ran from 1997 to 2004, and would lead to the spin-off series entitled “Boston Legal”. Around the same time, she was cast in the film “Clockwatchers”, starring Lisa Kudrow and Toni Collette in a story about temporary office staffers who become misfit friends in a somewhat hostile office environment. She also worked on the project “The Learning Channels: A Dating History”, and while she did enjoy those projects, she mentioned that she was not pursuing acting as a career in the long run.

In 2002, Jacque moved to Westchester, Pennsylvania to work with the television home shopping network QVC, the flagship shopping channel specializing in televised home shopping owned by the Qurate Retail Group. It is one of the most popular home shopping channels broadcast around the world to over 350 million households. She was discovered by a company executive while doing hosting work in Honolulu and the executive felt that she had the right feel for becoming an on air shopping host. She became the company’s electronics diva, crazy crafter, shoe addict, and silver fanatic. In 2016, it was revealed that she was diagnosed with a mass in her right breast, but it was later discovered that it was non-cancerous, though it did cause a bit of a scare. Since then she has been helping bring awareness of the importance of mammograms which earned her more praise.
In 2017, Jacque announced through social media that she was leaving QVC after 15 years of working with the company. She then started new social media accounts, as those existing were still tied to the company. Through her own website/blog, she mentioned that she had to leave her work to focus more on her health, as she was having numerous troubles, and also wanted to have more time for her daughter.
