Funny Marco is an American YouTuber and social media personality, who rose to stardom for his viral online pranks, celebrity interviews, and comedic sketches.

Marco Summers hails from Kansas City, Missouri, and was born under the Gemini zodiac sign on 19 June 1993, which makes him 30 years old as of 2023. He spent his childhood in Kansas City; he’s kept his parents’ and siblings’ names hidden. He had a fun-filled childhood, and spent a lot of time watching films and TV shows featuring pranksters and comedians.

(Man Walks in On His Girlfriend)” (uploaded on 18 August 2018) and “Man Buys His Wife a New Car Because She Wrecked Her First Car BUT LOOK WHAT SHE DO” (uploaded on 23 June 2018), which have over 12.5 million and 9.6 million views respectively. His 2019 compilation of the late comedian and actor John Witherspoon’s funny videos from the early 2000s was also very popular.

Marco has over 1.25 million subscribers and has posted over 1,300 videos, which have accumulated over 270 million views. He’s partnered with numerous famous YouTubers, including DDG, Deshae Frost, and King Cid.

Acting

Marco wrote, directed and starred in the horror comedy short “Don’t Say No,” which was uploaded onto YouTube. In 2022, Marco hosted an episode of the TV show “The Crew League”, and in 2023, he starred alongside Michael Blackson and Anthony McKinley in the TV miniseries “F Child Support,” which follows the story of a single dad with five children, as he pursues his dreams of becoming the most influential rapper in Dayton, Ohio. Marco also appeared in the video “Nightmare on Cottonwood” in 2023, and also made brief appearances in the comedy game show “Celebrity Squares,” the battle rap improv and sketch comedy show “Wild n’ Out,” the teen sitcom “That’s So Raven,” and the live-action silent comedy reality show “Just for Laughs Gags.”

Summers makes fun of the antics and lyrics of today’s hip hop artists on the podcast “Cornbread TV Starring Funny Marco” He’s uploaded around 67 videos as of October 2023. In June 2023, Marco appeared in the podcast “The Really Good Podcast,” I which he was interviewed by the American podcaster, Bobbi Althoff. He recently began touring as a stand-up comedian.

Other Work

Marco runs a clothing line that deals i hoodies, T-shirts, and other custom-made items with special prints and stickers; he uses his social media platforms to popularize his brand.

Lawsuit

In July 2023, Funny Marco faced a $6 million breach of contract and defamation lawsuit from the podcast network, Breakbeat Media and its publisher (and “The Source” magazine’s creator), Dave Mays. According to legal documents, Marco inked a deal with Breakbeat to upload his videos on one of their YouTube channels in August 2021, but the company claimed that Marco repeatedly breached the contract to obtain more money from the channel, after it achieved mainstream success. According to Breakbeat Media, Marco, who was allowed to integrate his Cornbread brand into their channel in addition to receiving 35% of the revenue collected and retaining the production rights, wasn’t satisfied, and allegedly siphoned hundreds of thousands of dollars in revenue.

Breakbeat Media also accused Marco of refusing to read some on-air advertisements, and entering into side deals with their clients, especially those in need of advertising services. Moreover, Marco has been accused of bad-mouthing the podcast network, which allegedly damaged their relationship with various high-profile clients, influencers, and celebrities, such as Bubba Dub, Jess Hilarious, and Sukihana. For damaging its reputation, Breakbeat Media sought $5 million in damages, and Mays $1 for defamation. The case is on=going.

Marco is active on Instagram (@funnymarco) with over five million followers, and joined Twitter (@funny_marco) in September 2018, currently followed by over 36,000 fans – his description is ‘It’s a mindset thing.’ Marco is active on Instagram with 2.8 million followers, and is also active on TikTok with around 2.4 million followers, with over 18 million likes.

Personal Life

Marco is very secretive when it comes to his dating life. He hasn’t publicly introduced anyone as his wife, however, multiple sources have claimed that he’s married to a lady named Jasmine Summers, but he hasn’t addressed the allegation. Despite being a very private person, Marco often posts pictures of his daughter, Millian Summers, born in 2018, onto his social media platforms. He has another daughter named Island Summers, born in 2023. The YouTuber often features his daughters, whom he considers his inspiration and motivation, in his videos and pranks. He hasn’t revealed the name of his daughters’ mother(s).
