Why is Tracie Beer so Famous? Her Age, Children, Spouse, Wiki

Tracie Beer

Interior designer Tracie Beer may have invented the contour hanger, but she’s famous for being the mother of singer-songwriter Madison Beer, and aspiring musician Ryder Beer.

The glamorous brunette was born on 30th November 1971 in New York State, USA, and married luxury home builder Robert Beer in the 1990s. The couple divorced in 2006, by which time Madison and Ryder had already been born, but remained on cordial terms, with Tracie even keeping her married name.

‘I was very fortunate that my parents were able to keep a relationship despite getting divorced,’ Madison said in an April 2023 podcast appearance. The model, who was discovered by Justin Bieber in the early 2010s, shares a close bond with both Tracie and Robert and discussed them at length in her recent memoir.

As soon as Madison’s music began taking off, Tracie reportedly left her day job and dedicated herself to advancing her daughter’s promising career. However, Tracie Beer Design is still active on Instagram and allows the interior designer’s followers a glimpse at her latest projects.

Ex-Husband

According to Robert’s official website, he’s been building houses for over three decades, and joined the construction trade by working for the family business, Birchwood Development company.

Birchwood was founded in 1946 and is known for building tens of thousands of homes in the Long Island area, including a 2,200 house community in Jericho. Shortly after the company was sold to Kimco in 2007, Robert decided to keep the family tradition alive by founding BuiltByBeer, which specializes in commercial renovations and new builds on Long Island’s Gold Coast and East End.

Robert, who was born on 12th June 1968, remarried a woman named Lyndsey Mayer a few years after divorcing his first wife. However, he and Lyndsey also divorced in 2013, and he’s currently believed to be single.

The master builder is extremely close to his children and made sure that they enjoyed a normal upbringing despite his and Tracie’s divorce. For example, Robert and Tracie were photographed dining at an upscale restaurant with Madison and her friend Sofia Richie back in 2014; the former husband and wife have also attended many of their daughter’s industry events to show their support.

Children

Madison was born on 5th March 1999 in Jericho, New York, and grew up in a Jewish family. At the tender age of four, the future singer got her first taste of showbiz after winning a modeling competition and appearing on the cover of Child magazine.

In a previous interview, Madison confessed that she’d suffered sexual abuse by someone who was around her frequently – perhaps a friend of the family – when she was six or seven years old. It remains unclear whether this had something to do with Tracie and Robert’s shock divorce, which took place when Madison was seven.

2012 was the year Madison celebrated her bar mitzvah and began uploading singing covers on her YouTube channel. When popstar Justin Bieber Tweeted a link of one of Madison’s videos, she began trending worldwide on the social media platform and also received substantial media coverage.

Having discovered Madison, Justin helped her ink a record deal with Island Records, which he’s been signed to since October 2008. Madison and Justin were both represented by Scooter Braun at the time, although the New Yorker parted ways with her former music manager in 2021, and appeared to take shots at him in her 2023 single “King of Everything”.

Madison’s music career got off to a great start as she was afforded opportunities that most hopefuls can only dream of. From partnering with the Monster High franchise and working with the likes of Cody Simpson, the songwriter was everywhere and there was plenty of buzz surrounding her debut album, which was intended to have pop and R&B influences.

Unfortunately, the material that Madison had prepared for the project has since been scrapped. Instead, the singer worked on her debut EP, “As She Pleases”, which took three years to complete and was finally released in February 2018. Around the same time, the songstress landed one of her biggest modeling gigs to date as she appeared on the catwalk for Dolce & Gabbana at Milan Fashion Week.

In August 2018, Madison became the only female solo artist on the Mainstream Top 40 Billboard charts who wasn’t signed to a major music label. She also made her festival debut at Lollapalooza, and began branching out musically by working with rapper Offsett and DJs Jax Jones and Martin Solveig to name a few.

It took signing to Epic Records in August 2019 for Madison to be able to work on her debut studio album after so many years. The project, “Life Support”, spawned catchy singles such as “Selfish” and “Stained Glass”. Madison also appeared to have more creative control over her projects as she co-directed some of her music videos.

It must be said that Madison’s had a pretty good run since signing to Epic. Some of her career highlights in the 2020s include launching her own makeup collection in collaboration with Morphe, being announced as Vevo’s new LIFT artist, and selling out her first major North American tour which proved to be so popular that she had to add dates in Europe.

“Silence Between Songs”, Madison’s second studio album, was released in September 2023 and received generally favorable reviews despite not breaking the charts. A month later, the singer announced her upcoming European and North American tour dates.

It’s easy to forget about, the youngest sibling Ryder, when discussing the Beer family. Despite living in the shadow of his big sister’s fame for years, the 21-year-old has come into his own recently, and is even using Madison’s handy music industry connections to launch his own singing career.

Madison’s more than happy to help her little brother out by taking him to high-profile events, such as a recent basketball game at the Crypto.com arena where they were seated front-row and received A-lister treatment, or the star-studded premiere of “Spider-Man: No Way Home”. Although Ryder’s only got one song out – “Can’t Take It”, which was released in November 2023 to positive reviews – he’s rumored to be currently working on his first EP or LP.
