Yagami Yato is an American social media star, voice artist, and YouTuber, who’s widely known for her Anime Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response ASMR content. For sometime she maintained a mysterious personality, and only recently revealed her name, gender identity, and face to the public.

I really wanted to make new friends and I enjoyed bnha, so I decided her server would be a great place to start. Unfortunately, at the time, I didn’t see all the red flags because I was a minor.’
In response to the allegations, Yagami briefly deactivated all her social media platforms, and later released a lengthy YouTube statement in which she began by apologizing to everybody she’d wronged, and later thanked her fans who had stuck by her in the middle of the controversy. While she admitted that she’d made a few mistakes in the past, she denied all the allegations of grooming minors, and promised to be careful when interacting with her fans in the future. Finally, she vowed to upload her NSFW content only on her Patreon account and further promised that she’d be keen to prevent explicit material from making it to her YouTube channel.

Yato is very secretive when it comes to her dating life, and hasn’t introduced anyone as her partner. She’s unmarried and without any children as of 2024.
