The Riches of Phil Kim
How rich is Phil Kim? As of late-2018, sources estimate a net worth that is over $1 million, earned largely through a successful career in real estate. His wealth has also possibly been elevated thanks to the success of his wife, who has a net worth estimated at $8 million. As he continues his endeavors, it is expected that his wealth will also continue to increase.
Early Life and Career
While little is known about Phil’s childhood, his family, and his education, is that he is of mixed ethnicity. During his youth, he showed a strong interest in pursuing an acting career, and started by performing in several high school plays. However, he decided against pursuing it as a career, partly because his father did not approve of his plan.
After matriculating from high school, he enrolled in college and completed a degree in financial studies. His father then helped him in developing his skills in real estate, and growing a business. His craft developed rapidly, and his quick business sense made him the next in line to take over his father’s business. He did eventually take over, and has enjoyed the fruits of high profits from the business ever since. Despite this, he didn’t attract much notice outside his real estate circle. It wasn’t until he met and started dating actress Grace Park that he started to gain attention.

Wife – Grace Park
One of Grace’s first professional roles was in the teen soap opera entitled “Edgemont”, when she was 25 years old. The shows follows teenagers in a fictitious suburb as they deal with every day endeavors. The show opened her to more acting opportunities, and she was then cast in the miniseries “Battlestar Galactica”, continuing her role in subsequent series as well as films, and which attracted a huge number of viewers. After working on several video games, and making guest appearances in other television shows, she then had a co-starring role in “The Cleaner”, in which she appeared for a year until its cancellation.
Grace was then cast in “The Border” until its cancellation, and made a guest appearance in “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation”. In 2009, she reprised her role in the television movie “Battlestar Galactica: The Plan”, before making an appearance in the series “Human Target”. The following year, she was selected for one of her longest roles, in the revival of “Hawaii Five-0, remaining in the series for the next seven years until she and co-star Daniel Dae Kim left the show due to salary disputes; according to them, they were being paid 15% less than their white co-stars, which led to a huge controversy surrounding the show.
Relationship and Marriage
In 2002, Kim went on a trip to Canada and met Park, and the two started dating and their relationship continued to grow strongly, despite the differences in their respective careers. The two decided to marry in 2004, in Canada, attended by family members, close friends, and people from the entertainment industry. The couple later had a child together.
Phil’s wife was a former member of the pyramid scheme and alleged cult NXIVM, headed by Keith Raniere and his associate, actress Allison Mack. The company started out marketing programs for self-help and improvement, using unusual techniques such as ESP. It grew over the years and began attracting high profile clients, including Kristin Kreuk, Allison Mack, Grace Park, Richard Branson and Sheila Johnson – Park even appeared on television with Raniere at one point. However, questions surrounding the company grew, with journalists starting to investigate the cult’s dealings. Forbes’ started reporting that NXIVM was a cult, and that it was asking a heavy emotional as well as financial investment from its members.
Meet Linda. We just met this morning at the Muni station. She looked at my sign and, not realizing I was the candidate himself, said "Oh, I already voted for him. Wish him luck!"

Things got even more heated when it was revealed that several people had escaped from the company, following recruitment into a secret sisterhood within the cult in which women were recruited into a sex ring for Raniere and Mack – women were said to have been blackmailed with their nude photos, and were also allegedly branded by the duo. The revelation led hundreds of members to leave, though members such as Park and Kreuk hadn’t been associated for a long time, likely due to the discovery of the same issues. Raniere and Mack have been arrested and are awaiting trial. If proven guilty of all charges, the two could spend upwards of 15 years in jail.
